Zable AI is an API access service for developers using Chinese AI models. Connect compatible applications to one endpoint and manage keys, credits and usage in a single workspace.

What does Zable provide?

Zable provides access to models through its own API endpoint. It is not the developer of DeepSeek, Kimi or GLM. The live model catalog lists the model IDs and credit multipliers currently exposed by the service; availability can change.

How are requests billed?

Requests consume credits according to the model and applicable group multiplier. Input, output and cached tokens may have different multipliers. Membership benefits and validity are defined by the plan shown at checkout; extra credits are purchased separately. A key's quota is a spending cap, not additional credit.

How do I use it with my tools?

Choose an OpenAI-compatible provider in your client, enter the Zable base URL including /v1, add a Zable API key, and select an exact model ID from the catalog. The quickstart covers Cline, Continue, Open WebUI and direct API requests. Keep API keys on trusted devices or servers.

What should I check before building?

Model availability does not guarantee that every client feature or endpoint is supported. Test streaming, tool use and the parameters required by your application with your chosen model. Consult the current catalog, plan details and usage records instead of assuming unlimited usage or a fixed latency.

Is Zable a chat app or an API service?

Zable provides API access. Use it with Cline or Continue for coding, Open WebUI for chat, or your own application. These tools are separate products; their setup and any fees are managed separately.

Can I switch models with the same key?

Yes, within the models available to your key’s access group. Change the model ID in your tool or request. Context limits and supported features vary, so test your workflow when switching.

What happens when my membership allowance runs out?

While your membership is active, the same API key uses extra credits when a membership allowance is exhausted. A request can use both. You still need available credits and access to the selected model.

Do extra credits keep an expired membership active?

No. Extra credits and membership access are separate. If a model requires an active membership, renew that membership to continue using it. Review allowance resets and expiry in your workspace.
